Lew’s KVD KVD1HL Baitcast Reel - 6.2:1, Left-Hand Retrieve, Black/Red

Designed with Kevin VanDam, the Lew’s KVD KVD1HL combines smooth operation, adjustable casting control, and dependable fish-fighting power. Its 6.2:1 gear ratio retrieves 25 inches of line per handle turn, providing a controlled pace for working moving baits.

A one-piece aluminum frame supports solid brass Speed Gears, while the P2 Super Pinion bearing-supported pinion gear maintains precise alignment for smooth performance. The 10-bearing system includes stainless steel double-shielded bearings and a Zero Reverse one-way clutch.

Fine-tune your casts with the Multi-Setting Brake system, which combines externally adjustable magnetic braking with internal centrifugal brakes. A carbon fiber drag delivers up to 20 pounds of stopping power, and the 95 mm bowed aluminum handle with EVA paddle knobs provides a comfortable grip.
