Technical Note: While this follower is fully compatible with TANDEMKROSS extended magazine base pads, combining it with a TANDEMKROSS Plus1 base pad will not expand total magazine capacity to 12 rounds. Maximum capacity remains 11 rounds.

Installation Overview

Installation is straightforward and can be completed in minutes without specialized gunsmithing tools:

1. Depress the detent button located in the center of the magazine base plate using a non-marring tool.
2. Maintain control of the magazine spring while sliding the base pad forward to remove it.
3. Carefully extract the magazine spring and remove the factory OEM follower.
4. Replace it with the Maximus Plus1 Follower, ensuring correct orientation.
5. Compress the spring back into the magazine tube and slide the base plate into position until it locks securely.
