The Z-Man ChatterBait JackHammer 1/2 oz is a premium bladed swim jig designed by professional anglers Brett Hite and Morizo Shimizu, in collaboration with EverGreen International.
Its flat-bottom, low-center-of-gravity head and ultra-thin stainless steel blade allow the lure to begin vibrating immediately. The JackHammer produces an erratic side-to-side hunting action that closely imitates a fleeing baitfish.
The specialized head and blade design deflects easily off cover and makes the lure ideal for skipping beneath docks, trees, and other overhanging cover. A channeled groove along the bottom positions the blade so it strikes the head, creating the JackHammer’s signature chattering sound while helping prevent the blade from separating over time.
