Daiwa BG2500 Spinning Reel - 2500, 5.6:1, Black/Gold

The Daiwa BG2500 brings a rigid aluminum construction and smooth drag to freshwater and inshore spinning applications. Its black-and-gold finish complements a machined aluminum housing designed to keep the reel's internal components supported under load.

The screw-in handle provides a secure connection, while the AIR ROTOR and 6+1 bearing system support balanced, smooth retrieves. DIGIGEAR gearing delivers dependable cranking performance. With a 5.6:1 gear ratio, the BG2500 picks up 33.2 inches of line per handle turn; its 13.2 lb maximum drag provides control for a range of light-tackle species.
